Having grown up in the 1960's and '70's i related to "The Wonder Years." The roles of family, in that the characters in the journey of character development during the run of that series touched me deeply. Firstly, the dad, and the mom, next Kevin Arnold and his friend, Paul Pfeiffer, and Winnie Cooper. How does this relate to Christianity, that the series, "The Wonder Years" has an expository nature in the screen plays, there is a direct correlation to our current historical setting, that developed by two forces that formed in the 1800s. It is both simplistic like a child, and it also has "meat" of the simplistic steps of past the Civil War in these, the United States of America,
and the current events of the nations of the world during that time of increased speed of communications.
World War I had supposedly ended to be, "the war to end all wars." Then the idea of the "Marshall Plan" had not been implemented for the diplomatic reconciliation / reparation - restitution post WWI, - in Scripture this is termed, "spoils of war." God does not cause the semantics used for war to develop, the tragedy of war, firstly hurts children, the boys and girls directly effected, and this has been heart wrenching a deep ache of repeated history in human history. Having grown up in the 1960s-'70s I related to "The Wonder Years," in that "Kevin Arnold" had been the character that I related to the most. "Winnie Cooper" was cool, kind of quiet, though.
The dad and mom of that show had been doing their best to relate to each of the four children, that had been growing up. In my very early years I had an older brother that reminded me of Kevin Arnold's older brother.
It that "establishment" had been blamed as a motif of the culture of the 1960s, and the young folk did there level best to relate to "dad" and "mom." The tragedy of the transpired Vietnam War had been going on during that time, - the fall of Saigon had been on of the highest heart wrenching tragic occurrences in history, in regard to soldiers of God Granted honorable moral code is from God, no man or woman adult, nor child, likes to be in testimonial occurrence at that time, in regard to children in the arms of women, sometimes only the child had been handed to a soldier in a helicopter or plane, - the imagery deeply touches the heart.
The three soldiers who had been hunted down like, "The Most Dangerous Game," a short story that only depicts that situational ethic, and reliable reports from the South China Seas places, at least one soldier or others, of the soldier's remains left for shark food from the seashore-
This happened during Under God, the U.S.A. trying to keep presence for our friends in Vietnam, subsequent to the fall of Saigon., the Mayaguez incident. A long true life harrowing occurrence in history.
