 The remake does show creativity,

Faithful to the original, 1954 "Rear Window," with Jimmy Steward and Grace Kelly,
 this 1998 version, "Rear Window," the characterization of "Jason Kemp," by Christopher Reeves did in his excellent acting have a certain realistic portrayal, and that is that, he has been an excellent actor during his career.

The "Claudia Henderson" role portrayed by Daryl Hannah as the screen play unfolds have nuances that needed very good knowledge as if Claudia lived in that particular traversal during the screen play.  That "Jason Kemp" had an extreme disability in not being ambulatory is central to the screen play, of course, simply true.  He does form a relationship  with her, and she with him, and that little cooking scene is a 'tell' of the closeness they formed, Jason and Allison in those role in that sense, as if it relay happened, *and helped 'engage' me as a viewer of the "who dunnit" film. 

In that, the time passes in tangibility in literal existing reality, of course, 
 *and* that involves the quality of human equality, and that relates directly to that film, and in the 'face it,' the events in history,  *of* national heritage, of each kindred and language of ethnicity, holds historically in practicality immemorial since the cradles of human civilization that human equality needs help up by the rule of law the inalienable human rights are inherent human rights, 
 *and* that a human being person has an identity, 
 *by* the state of being, a human being person has a *name*, 
 *of* whom had lived an earthly human life, 
  *or* tangible time passes is a human being person has continued to be someone with a name, an individual human being person has the inalienable & is inherent human right of freedom of non-vocal and vocal freedom of human speech, *can* be expressed, the Creator granted inalienable & inherent human right of freedom of speech that is non-vocal and vocal freedom of human expression.
 To close, in hopes of circumstances for a good today, as time passes, of days, and the needed blessings of a fair and just peacefulness of the upheld Creator granted inalienable human rights are inherent human rights, and upheld human equality.
